Lawrence is the driving force behind Laby CPA. With over two decades of accounting and business experience — spanning Big Four auditing at PwC, CFO roles various private enterprises, and as a senior manager in mid-sized firms — he founded Laby CPA to deliver high quality professional services rooted in honesty and collaboration.

Lawrence earned his B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University, where he first discovered his passion for clear, accurate financial reporting and the power of numbers in guiding smart business decisions. Known for his meticulous approach to tax planning (he loves nailing spot-on tax projections) and for turning complex multi-state filings into a clear, accessible process, Lawrence also prides himself on educating clients about how their returns work, line by line. He prioritizes building positive, long-term relationships and never recommends unnecessary filings or structures.

Outside of work, Lawrence loves playing tennis, traveling with family, and spending time outdoors. He’s proud to lead a team that genuinely cares about doing right by every client.
